Pack 619 Photo Galleries

	Sitgreaves Spring Camping The scouts set up camp on the first day and enjoy a campfire before a chilly nights sleep. Next day is fishing and hiking at Willow Springs Lake. Back at camp the scouts make lanterns and have a yummy pot luck supper. The night is capped off with skits and Dutch Oven Cobbler desert around the camp fire. Next morning the Scouts walk through camp to Leave No Trace before leaving. April 20-22, 2012
	Pinewood Derby Pack 619 annual Pinewood Derby races. The scouts hard work carving, painting and assembling their cars are on display. Top prize goes to the fastest car and the car with best craftsmanship. March 10, 2012
	Blue and Gold Banquet Annual celebration of Scouting Anniversary week. The scouts start with a balloon game. The Scouts graduate and receive their den patch and parents receive a pin. Recognition for the pack leaders and other adults who have been instrumental in the pack's success. Followed by skits and dinner. February 25, 2012
	Camp Digalas Rule 1 is to have fun. Rule 2 and rule 3 is to refer to rule 1. The Scouts have competitions for best in camp site, compass, fishing, frisbee, knot tying, BB gun, archery, obstacle course, fire building, dirty derby and best enthusiasm. Pack 619 Webelos are winners in 2 events. The event is capped off with a Troop 30 skit and burning down the set. February 10-12, 2012
	Coyotes Hockey Game Phoenix Coyotes against the Tampa Bay Lightning. After the game the Scouts were allowed onto the ice to shoot the puck at the net. January 21, 2012
	Bike Rodeo The Scouts learn about the basic mechanical checks for a bicycle. Learn and practice safe riding, bicycle maneuvers, bicycle street safety and signaling. January 14, 2012
	2011 Winter Day Camp "Around the World in 3 Days" with Asian crafts, Australian sports, music from South America, French language and geography. Along with the ever popular BB Guns and Archery events. Each day was capped off with a show at the amphitheater. December 27-29, 2011
	Sahuaro Ranch Park - Den 6 The Scouts tour Sahuaro Ranch historic home and observe the ammenities of the 1930's. They have fun washing clothes with a washboard! And, using a wringer to get the water out. December 17, 2011
	Ginger Bread Houses - Den 2 For the Den 2 meeting the scouts build Ginger Bread Houses. A couple weeks later the scouts visit the Marriott to see the "Christmas in Who-ville Gingerbread Village" masterpiece. November 30, 2011
	Canyon Creek Hatchery - Webelos Webelos tour the Canyon Creek Hatchery and see the life cycle of a Trout from small fry to fingerling to adult fish. Assist with the on-going forest restoration efforts after the 2002 Rodeo-Chediski fire. Finishing the day with a Tin Foil camp dinner. November 19-20, 2011
	McDowell Mountain Regional Park Learning about the Sonoran Desert with a 3.1 mile hike on the North Trail . The pack learned about Saguaro cacti, Teddy Bear (Jumping) Cholla, and Desert Mistletoe. The medicinal uses of the Mormon Tea shrub, the Jojoba shrub which is cultivated for soap and other uses. And, many other Sonoran Desert plants and animals. November 6, 2011
	Tonto National Forest The day started with a hike down to Roosevelt Lake for a chance to fish. Building and decorating sail boats for the gutter races were the highlight of the day. Afterwards, it was pot luck supper, skits and roasting marshmallows over a camp fire. At night a telescope was set up and the scouts could observe Jupiter and four of its moons. Throughout the night we were wowed by shooting stars from the Orionid Meteor Shower. October 22-23, 2011

	Phoenix Fire Department 41 - Den 6 Firemen Tim and Tom led the scouts on a tour of the living area, DPS helicopter and fire trucks. The firemen displayed and discussed the fire equipment they use and Tim put on his gear. They wrapped up with a discussion on fire safety. October 15, 2011
	AZ Historical Society Museum - Den 2 The scouts learned about Arizona's history with exhibits on topics such as Cotton farming and Cactus League. Saw the World War II stories exhibit and a special Sandra Day O Connor exhibit. September 17, 2011
	Diamondbacks Baseball Game The Cub Scouts and family enjoy an Arizona Diamonbacks vs San Diego Padres baseball game. September 9, 2011
	Arizona Science Center The pack enjoyed the day experiencing science with many hands-on exhibits and interactive displays. The featured exhibit was "Mazes". This visit included the IMAX show "Ultimate Wave Tahiti" in 3D. August 13, 2011
	Peter Piper Pizza A behind the scenes view of a Peter Piper Pizza restaurant. The scouts got to see the dough making room and make then eat their own pizzas. June 6, 2011
